Job Opportunity: Ocean Pricing Analyst

You'll be managing securing accurate pricing quotes for internal and external customers, ensuring both client satisfaction and company profitability


Duties and responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and process international import/export shipment quote requests, asking questions or exploring alternatives when needed.
  
• Request rates from agents, co-loaders, ocean carriers, and truckers, and use this information to generate formal quotes for clients via our internal system.
  
• Manage quote requests, NRA’s, and other pricing tasks, including larger projects as necessary.
  
• Proactively communicate with clients about the status of quotes and feel free to ask for additional information when needed.
  
• Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external clients, building relationships based on trust and reliability.
  
• Use discretion and independent judgment to achieve success.
  
• Collaborate with the team to find optimal solutions and foster strong teamwork.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
• Inform your supervisor of any problems or delays

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  
• Excellent communication skills to maintain client relationships and handle inquiries.
  
• Experience managing quotation to national and international clients
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Experience with ocean rate negotiation and quotation
