About the Role: seeking experienced Import and Ocean Operations Specialist to support our logistics team with international freight coordination, client/vendor communications, and documentation processes. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage import and ocean shipments from origin to final destination
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements
Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, carriers, and vendors
Build and maintain strong working relationships with all supply chain partners
Provide excellent customer service by tracking shipments and resolving issues promptly
Enter and update shipment data accurately in CargoWise and/or Excel
Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple shipments at once
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery
Requirements
2–3 years of proven experience in import/export and ocean freight operations
Strong understanding of international logistics and trade documentation
Proficiency in CargoWise and Microsoft Excel
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage priorities efficiently
Strong interpersonal skills; able to build relationships with vendors, carriers, and clients
English level B2 or higher (written and verbal communication)
Critical thinker with the ability to make sound decisions independently
Team player with a flexible and proactive attitude
