About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong experience in Freight Forwarding, combining both Operations and Pricing expertise.
This hybrid role is responsible for coordinating end-to-end air and ocean export/import operations while also managing quotations, costing, and rate negotiations to ensure optimal profitability and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is analytical, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced international logistics environment.


Key Responsibilities

Operations:

  • Coordinate and manage Air & Ocean Import and Export shipments from booking to delivery.

  • Communicate daily with overseas agents, clients, and service providers to ensure smooth execution of shipments.

  • Maintain accurate shipment data and documentation in the company’s system (CargoWise One).

  • Handle and review freight documents such as BL, CI, COO, HBL/MBL, AWB, PL, ensuring compliance with INCOTERMS and company standards.

  • Perform month-end closing for assigned shipments, including cost control and billing accuracy.

  • Identify root causes of delays or issues, ensuring KPIs and service quality targets are met.

Pricing:

  • Manage daily RFQs and provide competitive and accurate quotes to clients and overseas partners.

  • Negotiate rates with carriers and service providers to optimize profitability.

  • Track and analyze quotation performance and identify opportunities to improve the closing ratio.

  • Generate and qualify leads through quotations, CRM tools, and client follow-ups.

  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to develop solutions that meet client needs while maintaining margin goals.

General:

  • Maintain proactive communication and excellent customer service at all times.

  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.

  • Support both the Operations Manager and Pricing Manager with ad hoc projects or reporting as required.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, covering both operations and pricing/sales.

  • Strong understanding of international trade documentation (BL, AWB, COO, CI, etc.).

  • Knowledge of CargoWise One (CW1) is a strong plus.

  • Solid understanding of INCOTERMS and international logistics procedures.

  • Experience working with U.S. and Canadian markets (experience with both is a big plus).

  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ level or higher required).

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with multiple time zones.
